Economic Actions
Economic Actions governs the Realm’s efforts to improve its resource production, and make material improvements to its Settlements and populace through the application of these resources.
⭕ Construct Building
Pay: (🪵/🪙/🌾) Determined by building chosen
Upkeep: (🪵/🪙/🌾) Determined by building chosen
Benefits: As described by chosen building.
As Ruler you order the construction of a new building in a Settlement that you control. Choose a Settlement you control, then choose a building from the Building List provided, and pay it’s Build Cost. The construction site immediately fills one of the available building slots at that settlement. At the start of the next turn the building will have finished construction, and its Upkeep cost must be paid from that turn onwards. As long as the Upkeep cost is paid, the building provides the benefit it describes. If the Upkeep cost cannot be paid, the benefit of the building immediately ends.
Once constructed, the building fills one of the building slots in the selected Settlement, reducing the number of available building slots by 1. Each Settlement can only have one building under construction at a time. Additionally, a settlement cannot have multiples of the same building in one settlement.
The Construct Building action can be taken any number of times during a turn, providing that the following are true:
- The build cost of each building can be paid
- There are available building slots
- There are no other buildings already under construction at the chosen Settlement.
When rules conflict, the rules of an individual building supersedes the rules laid out in this action.
⭕ Demolish Building
Pay: 1🪵
Benefit: Remove a building
A building in any building slot in a settlement you control can be demolished at the cost of 1 Material 🪵. At the start of the next turn, the building is destroyed, it ceases to provide any benefits, and the building slot is made available again. This action can be taken multiple times during a turn, but only one building can be demolished at a time at one settlement.
